a. Peer Support - Basic Course

A three (3) day course designed as a skills building module for the new military peer support team member(s). The course will provide a comprehensive review of peer support best practices along with in-depth discussions on some of the new concepts in this critical area. Presented from the practitioner’s perspective through interactive discussion, practical exercises and specific case studies examining real challenges peer supporters have faced. Our experienced instructors have extensive experience in the very relevant disciplines of trauma recovery, program building, and many years of experience across the country. This is a great opportunity to learn new and best practices of contemporary peer support.

b. Peer Support - Advanced Course

This course is designed as a skills building module for the experienced military peer support team member(s). The course will provide a comprehensive review of peer support practices along with in-depth discussions on some of the newer intervention and treatment concepts and programs in this critical area. Best practices will be discussed along with case studies and each participant is encouraged to bring a difficult or challenging case study for group discussion and analysis.

c. Peer Support - Update Course

A one (1) day course designed as a skills building module for the veteran military peer supporter(s). The course will provide a comprehensive review of trauma support best practices along with training on new concepts in this critical area. Presented from the veteran peer supporter perspective through interactive discussion, practical exercises, and specific case studies examining real challenges military peers face. Our experienced instructors have extensive experience in the very relevant disciplines of trauma recovery, program building, and many years of experience across the country. This is a great opportunity to learn new and best practices of contemporary trauma support.

d. Peer Support & Family Support Coordinators Workshop

 A one (1) day course designed as a skills building module for Military Peer Support & Family Support Coordinators and/or experienced team member(s). The course will provide a comprehensive review of peer support best practices along with in-depth discussions on some of the newer theories and programs in this critical area. Presented from the practitioner’s perspective through interactive discussion, practical exercises and specific case studies examining real challenges peer supporters have faced when supporting others. e. Career & Family Resiliency Workshop

A one (1) day course designed as a skills building module for the new and veteran military professional. Your significant other or spouse is invited at no cost. The course will provide a comprehensive review of career challenges, impacts on relationships and families, and best practices for your career and family survival. Presented from the military family perspective through interactive discussion, practical exercises, and specific case studies examining real challenges military families face. f. How to Successfully Retire from being a First Responder

A half day workshop designed for the first responder professional planning to retire or has retired from service. The workshop will provide a comprehensive review of retirement best practices based on research conducted on retiring and retired first responder professionals. Learn how to build your next “life mission” of purpose and direction. Learn how to design your own retirement goals and wellness plan. Presented through interactive discussion, practical exercises and specific case studies examining real challenges first responder retirees have faced.
